It always makes the image look a bit flat when you got the sun shining directly - or almost directly behind the camera (all the front you see is sun lit). I'd go rotate the sun position so, that it shines from the left s...

Re: Pro Arch Vol 2 and 3 Announcement

we will try to boost up the quality in the packages now pretty much, so the package will include: NOT video, but GOOD pdf tutorial explaining more of the setups and why to use some lights and what to receive with those lights... there's always relatively big amount of work related in creating good t...

Re: Pro Arch Vol 2 and 3 Announcement

Ok cool that there's some interest on this. :) We will try to produce basic setup expalanation for universal scene setup (what you need to take into account etc...) But we dont see it that big output to write full explanation for every scene, since it's always a bit scene dependent how you position ...

Another Exterior

Hey,

Here's another exterior, a little different but decided to do a quickie for this, modelling around 2 hours and quick setup and renders, total time around 6 hours of production.

Hope you all like it ;)

Conference exterior

Hey! Here's latest test image, so it's not an actual project but to make one commercial building test instead of always doing those houses... Rendertime 15 minutes, on 2x quad xeon. Comments and crits welcome! No much post process, just lens effect (black corners) and little desaturate. Background i...

Re: Test renders

Great stuff! Only thing is some low quality models and the last one should be using the Indirect rays 100% desaturate on the red wall to get rid of the "stupid" colour bounce so hevily...

Re: Professional Archviz Training Volume 1 OUT NOW!

I have updated the Kray package already, and sent it to Joakim Brodendal for update. He is experiencing some problems with the site at the moment I think, but I'm trying to kick him in to the right direction again :)

Sorry about it, this is really getting ridiculous...

Re: Couple revisited old renders

Made a little test animation of this, to see how it looks. around 5 minutes / frame. The little flickering there is, seems to come mostly from the packing of the quicktime, not from AA...

Re: New AMD Opteron Istambul

I want a good motherboard where you can install the cheap quadcore xeons like 6 or 12... :)

Or as many as you can afford... but 4 instead of 2 processors would be nice too...
