Re: WIP - Interior Test ...

The sunlight looks ok but the sky is like an evening sky, increase it 2-4 times more. I agree. The sky ain't right yet. Currently it's at 3pm in the afternoon in the summer, but it looks too rich for me. BTW: Anyone else find the Turbity setting VERY sensitive? Lower values are meant to give a blue...

Re: filter radius bug

Does the gadget in LScript have the range set? Might be worth adding that (to all gadgets that do in fact) if it hasn't. I'm sure you can set them up that way.

Re: WIP - Interior Test ...

Not bad! but your images doesn't have enough contrast, and maybe photons? Have you increased the physy sky's power? Have you put an area behind the window with power multiplier and a fe more photons? You have a wide window, so much more light should get in The lighting isn't done yet! ;) Those rend...

Re: WIP - Interior Test ...

A few more GI tweaks, render time down by over a minute, although not as nice as the last test.

WIP - Interior Test ...

This is just a test (so it's no where near finished) exploring Kray's many settings and the linear workflow / tone mapping options. I feel like I'm starting to get somewhere with render speed vs quality (not Jonhy Quick quality clearly, but not bad for me!) :D I'm going to do a quick video to show t...

Re: gradients_neighbour now in the UI?

Thanks Jure, been testing stuff out tonight and I thought that setting was it, just wasn't sure.

So is the gradients_neighbour command still called that in the commands for backward compatibility?

gradients_neighbour now in the UI?

Tried asking this in Skype but no one answered me

The 'gradients_neighbour' command, is this now in the UI somewhere but called something else? Or do we still have to access it via the Header/Footer command input?

Cheers
Matt

Re: commands

You'll need to modify the uncompiled Kray.ls Lscript (the HTML link to those is in the 2.0 RC5 install ZIP file) Open Kray.ls in a text editor and look for this bit of code: //header/tailer commands header_list=@"Add ...", "previewsize 1280,800", "debug -1", "logfi...

Ahhhh got it, I tried that but was using my forum login, which is different (would be nice if these were the same actually).
