Re: A commercial order.
Beautiful as always. Do you make the models yourself as well, or do you receive these? The fabric is really excellently done, with all the creases etc... Is that Marvelous Designer?

Re: Lightwave sinking ship ??
Alright! That's awesome to hear Janusz! At this moment I'm doing most of my render work in LW+Octane, because it's mostly product renders, so lots of glass, metal and subpixel displacement mapping for details. The moment K3 has this and a good 'physical' material library I can test and try to switch...

Re: Lightwave sinking ship ??
I agree, it won't sink anytime soon. But boy, still no true and practical subpixel displacement in 2019???!!! How long have competitors had that feature now? 5 to 10 years?

Could you tell those people to straighten out the cow's hide a little bit though? Someone's going to trip over it!

Re: 3 projects, 1 day. Such things only in KRAY ;-)
Amazing work as always, and at amazing speed! I really feel that you are right... In this timeframe it is only possible in LW + Kray. We use 3DS Max and Cinema here as well, plus Sketchup and V-Ray, and I really can't see anyone just create the scene and place the objects and textures in the time it...

Re: Brick wall.
Wow, that brick wall is really outstanding. The place where the brick wall meets the white plaster wall adds to the realism tremendously. Is this done by using extreeeeeeeme subdivision and displacing the vertices (let's call this the brute force way), or is there some sort of smart subpixel displac...

Re: nterior quality HQ
Hi Artattak, The second picture you show does indeed look very unnatural, but I don't think the reason is because of the sharpness per se. The anti-aliasing in your sharp picture is really terribly looking on the diagonals, and screams "digital", together with the noise on the textures. So...

And, second question: do/will we have GGX metal shading in K3?

Re: nterior quality HQ
Looking at the image in full resolution it looks pretty blurry. Is that the anti-aliasing or did you just go overboard with the chromatic aberation?

Re: Human figures in KRAY 3
hi Artattak, You somehow seem to be missing my point. I'm not talking about motion-captured and facial animated humans in your scene. All I'm saying is that, within your incredible photorealistic level of work, the human models placed here are the give-away that the whole image is CGI. I also think ...

Re: Human figures in KRAY 3
In principle that's super cool stuff, but the problem I have at this moment is that it's sort of a giveaway that the image is fake. Arch Viz images have become almost perfectly realistic in their simulation of light distribution, material shading and lens effects, in essence looking like a photograp...

Re: Photorealism in K3
Is the DOF done in post? There's weird artefacts around the legs of the table chairs.
And yes, the front legs of the big seat seem to be floating a little bit
Apart from that: amazing work as always. Wish I had the same level!
