Re: Rolezz
Very nice render. I think black bg that is reflective will give more dramatic and classy feeling.

Re: contact shadow in kray
How to get better contact shadow in kray with cached photon mapping? cached mode looks good in kray but noisy and longer render time. btw does kray now support shadow density flag? so necessary to composite objects  atleast some on this list and kray will rock unseen by camera flag, unseen...

Re: what we should be looking forward for?
With lightwave only for stills. Too many work arounds for animation. Lw export to blender or modo, applink to octane. If you're using max, maya, blender it is production ready. That killer bean and bug animation looks production quality imho. But the development is fast since a group of people are wor...

Re: what we should be looking forward for?
So kray will get new render engine soon as posted by johny.:) Hope it rocks and released soon. I took the bite and bought octane and its something kray needs to look at to get ideas, etc. Octane is rendering animation, flickerfree lighting and shadows like fprime but at very high speed. http://vimeo...

Re: Light with polygons or LUMI-polys tips and trics?
Problem is that: Note: Now is bug in Kray which block Physky light by Hidden Lumi Poly. I think that is why recent renders of kray has not so good interior lighting with lumi poly and physical sky compared to old renders with dpont sky which has more contrast even your renders johny :P . My old pos...

Re: What improvements would you like to see in Kray next?
this kind of render requires matt and alpha settings to be fully supported and also in the buffers http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fv2eSfXgqh8 turbulence 4d will render in kray but its useless because you cant get a matt object with the fire. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r-uXwM4kbyg its not perfect...

Re: What improvements would you like to see in Kray next?
What is the target market for kray next? The render engine is good as it is. But imho the biggest improvement would be those matt, alpha settings and render buffers, which seem to be the least voted  . You might see renders other than archiviz for kray if you can support those two for lw. I ...

Re: simple interior
To me it looks like the back kitchen is to dark. I think this scene would be good with Light Portal. Are you using Lightmap now? Yep its too dark there. I only let physical sky do its thing and notice it doesn't get into interiors. I've noticed it from everyones rendering when the physical sky came...

Physical sky for lighting only. The animation has the same sky but just changed in compositing.
