Re: exterior render

looking good, but some textures seem to be a bit on the lo-res side! but personally i find all these evermotion scenes quite boring. sort of instagram fotos as 3d scenes. cool looking in a first place, but then, what will the image really tell us? ...but maybe i'm just too critical :D that's why i p...

Re: Interior 3D render ;)

i posted this also on the LW forum, not sure where you are following... here a few tips to refine your work: first, please, turn the lights off, the sunlight is bright enough or is a sudden eclipse expected? maybe this is the reason for the astronomical observation monocular? btw. this is the most a...

Re: architecture works

like the first one, someone forgot tho close the water flow ;) as for the other two, for my taste, vegetation is looking too artificial. it's about the distribution, placements and also surfacing. about the lighting: one tip would be to set the light to late afternoon, this way you would get a much ...

also have a look at squidnet. i'm about to setup my small farm with it these days. support is excellent and future development very promising.

Re: Kray for other 3D packages?

i voted modo, but i guess it will be difficult to implement because of the nature of modo's material system.

i'm still a strong supporter of the formz modeling package, and even if there's maxwell and upcoming vray for version 7, i'd LOVE to see kray for formz.

cheers

Re: new_baita

looks like it will become a nice image! :) 2 things i notice: the textures of the stonework seem to be rather low res. the surfacing in general tends to look a bit like plastic - maybe using blurred reflection on the wood and a better bump map and a control of reflectivity by a map for the stone mat...

Re: test interior

nice start! and one more in the chorus: bump map (if a tiled texture was used for the floor) or smoothing (if u used real geometry for the floor) is definitely wrong... ;) another thing i would do differently is the glass material, as usually you would have a double layer of glass for such big surfa...
