What's happening on the underside of the wooden ceiling beams? Is that just a stretched texture or are those photons misbehaving?
Apart from that, amazing render!

K3 is almost always fast you mean: there is only one thing that is slooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow about K3. The release timing.

Re: Test of lighting with LEM panels
I know! I'm really waiting for K3.1 with good and fast shaders for glass, velvet, stainless steel and SSS. When all that is in place we can start flooding the web with images showing the power of Kray. So please hurry!

Re: Test of lighting with LEM panels
Very nice! I also really like that you put "Lightwave / Kraytracing 3.0" on the render. I think it works really well for PR and promotion to put that on images. Might be a good idea to spread the word about K3!

Re: VRay scene to KRay
I'm seeing: 1) Light leaks at the back of the left roof, where it meets the back wall (might be on the right side as well but that's invisible in this render) 2) Black mesh pattern on the trash bin - could this be flipped polygons shadowing themselves? 3) Black sole of the right shoe on the floor in...

Re: A commercial order.
Amazing quality, I'm impressed!
Minor criticism: the first pic with the wooden floor does have a weird horizontal line running through the planks texture.

Re: VRay scene to KRay
And what many beginners in ArchViz seem to forget: when professional interior photos are taken for glossy magazines, they also place bounce cards and lightboxes allover the places outside the frame - exterior lighting just doesn't feel very pleasant in most interiors as a single light source, so eve...

Re: VRay scene to KRay
I'm confused Janusz. First you say we don't have light portal because we don't need them, and then you say to put LEM rectangles in the windows, which are, basically, a very limited version of light portals, since most light portals actually implement the direction of direct sunlight and skydome blu...

Re: VRay scene to KRay
Funny that it's a scene from Evermotion: a company that came by to show their ArchViz portfolio had this interior in their portfolio - and it was by far the best render!

Yes, do give Gregor my best wishes as well - in the end we all realise the health of his family is infinitely more important than any piece of software.
