Shadow is from Area Light in Window (hmm.. very stronge increse time render, in V-ray render included "V-RAY LGHTS"....), but effecy is nice (used Stochatic Full AA + 1/1 Area)

Nice to see your example. What values did you use? Have you used your usual well proven technique with photonmapping? 6Hrs sound very long and i miss shadows around/behind the paintings on the wall. Yep shadow around obj. (paintings) is problem i used GI from Skaydome and Area in window. But in thi...

Yes, yes worked. Last scene test (now fix strong light on the cellin) . Now build another scene. Many days finish and send to us.

It is magnificent!!! If not secret, you could not describe as were tuned the materials of metal and tile? My secret: Fresnel effects on EVERYTHING! Every single object, more or less, has incidence angle gradients. Most objects have a small amount of reflectivity, as well. Jep fresnel wallow is good...

I speed-modeled this kettle in modo in about 30 minutes, and rendered it in Kray. Path tracing with irradiance caching, 1500 rays. No anti-aliasing; rendered at 1920x1920 and downscaled.
