Re: Small Viz reel
I could set up a tutorial for BNR 4.5 tonight, not a video tutorial. I do not have time to do it here at the office right now....

Re: Small Viz reel
Hi and tnx!
I use BNR 5, and I have used since 2006 (I think)
The config/setup is quite easy. What is your problem?

Re: Small Viz reel
I baked GI only on dark surfaces with the KraySurfaceOptions. The reason was that dark surfaces in Kray produces more noise so you have to go hi at FG settings to get those clean. Dark materials have cashed irridiance and the rest of the materials have uncached materials. Then render the animation i...

Re: Small Viz reel
Hi!
Tnx for the comments.
I rendered on a small farm on my office, 10 I7 rendernodes 16Gb ram.
frame rendertime was 10-15 minutes. (up to 20 min on the interiors where the fluffy carpets show)
The carpets and dark textres was baked before render to get rid of noise.
The rest was rendered as QMC.

Re: Kray interior anim test
hmmm... that is interesting :-) The scene I'm working on is basicly going to be used for residential interiors... If I'm going to render a lot of glsswalls in an office-environment i prob. render a lot of passes and comp it in Eyeon fusion... I have a big problem get refraction to render fast. Maybe...

Re: Kray interior anim test

I have 10 I7 computers with 16gb memory too deal with it now, and I get a couple more soon... my target is to render 1 minute hi quality movies pr. 24 hrs... without to much workaro...

Re: Kray interior anim test
I used 200/400 on FG, but the trick to get rid of the noise was using quasi random AA at full screen with DOF 20/50. The rest of the noise was killed with Neat Video in fusion. The carpet fur was hell, the AA was going trough the ceiling :-D... so i decided to bake radiosity in LW and post it in Eye...

Re: Kray interior anim test
I use QMC and DOF in the renders to get right contact shadows and no blotching... and to avoid a big GI file running around on my network while rendering... When i make a image for print I just load in my optimized settings and it's good to go as an animation
just need some more render-power
