Those renders are gorgeous, congratulations !
The only drawback is that on the second render, the pool border shows some straight lines, as if it misses a bit of sides in the curved part...
Other than that it's trully beautyfull, very realistic.
No worries, i can wait ! :) Even more since Kray is already, as it is, a fabulous render engine, (very) fast, quite simple to understand and get great results (thanks to all the guys involved here for the tutorials, te scene files and the documentation !) and already well integrated within LightWave...
I have not totally crashes, Kray is incredibly stable now...so ? No crash for me either, Kray is incredibly stable in LightWave 64bit on Mac OS X. If only i could have AO helping, as in LW, to balance the lack of detail and contact shadows when rendering at very low GI resolution, it would be perfe...
Working fine here, even with the 6'bit for Mac, Cocoa based version of LightWave ! 8) I must say that i enjoy using Kray, and that it has already saved me on a couple occasion, when i needed to render heavy scenes with lots of instances ! :) Needless to say it was stable and fast and efficent. :wink...
... And even if Kray instances aren't as powerful (in term of possibilities) as HDInstance's ones, they really are a godsend for any lightwaver who needs hundreds of thousand instances in there scenes ! Doing some archviz stuff now, i have been able to instanciate without any problem (even tested on...
I followed carefully your advice and watched the video without sound, but the editing is horrible ! Who did that ? Was this blue background color a prerequisite or what ? Apart form that the global ambiance is really good ! :) I'm not too fond of some camera movements, but that's almost alwa...
I have some tests to do before i can think doing anything near that quality with Kray !
But for interiors Kray is really doing wonders ! (as well as your skills, that is !)
I'll see what i can do regarding the scene, but it's quite heavy so i need to find a way to reduce the amount of data and still have that behavior. In the meantime, i'll test without any fog in the scene to see if there is a difference at all, now that you've told me it's not supposed to work...
Hi, the title says it all. When trying to render a landscape behind the house i'm worjing on now, i just noticed that when using instanced trees to make the forest in the background it doesn't take into account the fog setting of LightWave, whereas the hill in the right of the render is "faded&...
Now that i have Kray, i hope i'll be able to do renders just as great as yours, and with short render times.
I'm already enjoying the ability to have literrally thousands of instances in my scenes.
Great, thanks a lot Jure ! 8) I'll download it right after replying to your post. Oh, and by the way, by the look of the few tests i have run since i've had the plug-in (a few hours to be honest...), it seems that Kray is really fantastic, so congratulations go to Gregorsz and all the persons involv...
Earlier in this thread, you can read a post from Covematt that says exactly this : I'm more concerned about that licensing issue with LightWave 64bis Mac, as it's the one i'm using. :? Any info on this ? Hi, The licensing issue has now been resolved in a internal kray beta build. Hopefully a release...
Yoohoo, today is a great day, as the Kraystore is back online and i was able to finally purchase it ! :D So now i can proudly say i'm a Kray customer ! 8) ... But unfortunately not a Kray user yet, as it seems the Kray actually available to customers has a problem with LW 64bit for Mac OS X... :( It...
Interesting render ! :) You're missing a balcony as far as i can tell, and judging by the view, it could be quite dangerous ! Otherwise, the only big crit i would have is about the duvet on the bed, which looks a bit "rigid" ! But i know having a real looking duvet is probably the h...
