does filter forge required necessarily photoshop or can work also with Gimp?

why instead of buying other software, not to render this node setup on a large plane surface in orthographic view at big resolution in lw, just saving the image and using it as a textur in kray or wathever software?
This node set up its very interesting.. could u share it?

could improve texturing... for istance bump on tiles is too obviuos

u well know we are all longing to see this kray 3.0....

My new test of Nodes in LW (all surfaces done only inside Nodes). Scene I converted from V-ray...so only original are wire and textures. Time render 1-2h i7CPU. In scene only Sunsky + SunSpot (no extra lights in windows) and sometimes light from big lamp. Photon map was corrected by Kray Skyportals...

+1 We must also consider that there are SDK changes that occur too often for devs to keep up with LightWave and also SDK limitations that make development on C4D easier than LW. Remember Vue XStream, too many limitations on LW I'm not sure it's only because of the user base. However, I'm confident,...

I am rendering a scene that in lw take 20 minutes and in kray is taking more than an hour.... and i am talking about a 901 x 473 render!!!
is ttha possible? or maybe i have something messy in my config? who knows...
