Good Lord... This proves that the key is the artist and not the tool (not that Kray is anything short of amazing!). Speechless...

That doesn't look bad at all Jure! The over all feeling of indirect lighting is nice and pleasant, but that direct light on the floor from the window doesn't convince me. Too sharp and bright for the rest of the room maybe. What is your lighting setup on this one, if I may ask?

I'm no guru, but I'll try to help. First, I think you've got way too many global photons. Id try 1500000 and n=3000 or so. Set GI resolution to use global autophotons. Get the diffuse model to Photons estimate/Precomputed, activate shared GI and save the GI file. This will speed up your next render....

Minor update in my first image. Higher multiplier used, and adjusted a bit exposure and gamma. Still need to work on the lighting some.

Very nice Johny, but I think that your DoF is causing a scale issue. I'd try a higher value for the F-Stop, because small values cause it to look like the scene is smaller (model size, actually). Other than that, you got some nice lighting going on in there. I'm looking forward to seeing the update....

Beuatiful as usual Silver! Gotta love that grainy look... Do the render times shoot up when turning off the irradiance caching?

Classroom

I've seen this scene around other forums for some time and thought it should have a Kray version of it http://homepage.mac.com/janoverust/LW_tuts/FileSharing3.html C&C are welcome and expected. Something funny has happened with the time shown though. It's a second try (the first ran 10 hours or ...

OK, here we go. First of all, thanks to Johny and Jure for their advice. It was set to good use, I think. I've had to set thin geometry distance to 15% with 1 path, but it seems to work. I've set FG rays to 4000 max, but there seems to be still some noise behind the picture  . Anyways, I'm uplo...
