Re: K 3.02 official release

Hang on, please clarify what you mean by above? Dielectric is native BxDF material just like Conductor, pBSDF, etc. Does that mean all such materials are problems for Kray3.0.2 or just Dielectric? Please clarify which LW2018 (and LW2019, if relevant) native materials are supported by Kray3.0.2? Are...

Re: K 3.02 official release

I thought Dielectric was a native LW node? Anyway I normally never use it, it was on an old object in the scene on which I apparently used it once for testing. Sorry, actually yes this is Native Node but shader...which we do not support. Mostly they are buggy or bad working or...no documentation. B...

Make updating EASIER!

I'm filing this as a bug, because currently the update process is onerous, and risky / error-prone due to the need to manually remove the 20+ separate plugins in an existing Kray3 install with every update. There's no "bulk delete" in Edit Plugins in LW, nor does LW even auto-select the ne...

Re: K3 RC7

Another 3 weeks passed since I asked some questions about Kray 3 developement. Many others asked the same questions later. When can we expect Kray 3.1. Side question is why we have to wait till 3.1 for the full package. And these are just about questions about the release date. I wrote above everyt...

Janusz, can you clarify whether "full K3.0" will include fully-operational GUI, render presets, and so forth?

Re: K3 RC5 official release

Also, I did not upgrade to LW2018, nor do I plan to do so at this time. When I purchased Kray 3 my expectation was that it would work with LW2015, and I still expect that to be the case.

Janusz, can you please clarify whether Kray 3.x will be both compatible with, and fully-functional with LW2015?

Re: K3 RC5 official release

You know, I'm glad to hear Kray's finding other venues, but it's getting annoying reading about PRO100 and Podium receiving attention when us pre-paid customers of Kray 3 are still a _LONG_ way from anything resembling a release-quality product. We've been waiting a very long time , and to say that ...

Re: K3 RC4

Any sort of guess as to how much longer we'll have to wait for RC4 release?

I'm all for G. having time with his family, but at same time, many of us have been patiently waiting a very long time for an actual product.

Re: Pkysky in PhotoMap system

More directly relevant to this thread: It would be great if there was an option to enumerate the current K3 settings at the beginning of photon phase or render, and if you could enable that option when you produce log+photo results similar to what you've been posting. Knowing photon counts helps, bu...

Re: Pkysky in PhotoMap system

(K3 doesn't have a "Feedback" area yet, so feel free to move this post to better, more topical location) Perhaps updated since prior macOS report, but on macOS 10.11.6 on a 5,1 MacPro (12C/24T@2.4G, 32GB), LW2015.3 & K3OB3 (.plugin dated 9Sept2016), I am seeing what appears to be expec...

That's great, will the beta test versions be available to existing Kray customers? I've been patiently waiting years now for something beyond Kray2 with better buffer support, etc.

Thanks Janusz, Jure, Gregorz & co.!

Re: What improvements would you like to see in Kray next?

So if you're going multi-platform, that would seem to imply a new, separate material/surfacing engine as well. One of the things that Vray has, and which would be really nice in Kray, is both more physically-realistic/calibrated materials, and support for specialized materials. An example of the la...

Re: Kray 2.3 update released

Is there a list detailing the bugs fixed in the 2.3 release anywhere? I've encountered various bugs mentioned in threads in the customer help forum, and would like to which I should expect to be fixed, and which were not fixed in 2.3. Thanks!

Re: Kray 2.3 update released

Is shadowdensity supported in 2.3? Or only constant value? It would be great to have a mini update that would include support for shadowdensity. I included the sample scene. I usually render out moving objects separately as well as the shadow from the main bg render for flexibility and shadowdensit...
