Re: rendering animation on network - GI settings
Thx! Here some other poses:
We're ganna change the hair just a bit. The flames are just a volumetric light rendered with lightwave native renderengine. Maybe we will add some particels in the flames.

Fabian

rendering animation on network - GI settings
Hi Guys, I have an animation where there are several characters playing around in a indoor scene filled with lights. They also interact with the light in the scene. What is the best way to prepare this to render on a farm? Should I use the update GI and framestep on 1 and use the bake only option? T...

What happened with CORE?
Hi Guys, I just downloaded lightwave 10 trial and what I noticed is where are all the cool things they developed in lighwave CORE? Look, I'm not going to pay 495 for this kind of update. I use Fprime, so why do I need the VPR of lightwave 10? Virtual studio in 10, cool for big studios but useless fo...

another animation question
Hi all, I have a question about rendering an animation. The animation is a golden logo that consists of several parts turning and sizing. My light and camera turns and changes also. Can I bake my kray data when I use a frame step of 1 in "bake only" modus? So I can later use that kraydata ...

Re: animation question
Hi jdomingo, If you want to use screamernet, you might wanna consider a distributed render solution. Because screamernet is not very stable to use. I use kray on a 10 unit renderfarm wich is run by BNR for allready 2 years. I had days when I left my renderfarm to render (with screamernet only) and a...

Re: Help on rendering animation
Hi Jure,
I rendered the animation with GI set lo load, cause it's a camera animation with no other animation. I thought I didn't need to do do frame step GI, but I'll give it a go.
Thx!
Grtz,
fabian

Re: Help on rendering animation
Hi Jure, I tried it and it's less but still in the very fine details. When i render a fix of 25 frames it still changes in the inside corners of the model. Its like I need to render it on a higher resolution to avoid it. Is there a way to avoid this like setting the GI to 100mm instead of auto? Or d...

I have a camera animation of a plane and my GI flips a little bit in the detailed corners.

Re: 2.1 + BNR
Hi 3dworks,
I pasted my kray license in every BNR directory I could paste. That worked for me for the pc rendering. While we have also mac's here I havn't setup anything for BNR to mac. Maybe try to paste it in every BNR plugin mac directory you can find...

Re: 2.1 + BNR
Hi Guys, I checked my BNR farm and I noticed that I was still running RC5. I copied the 2.2 files over the RC5 plugins in the lightwave directory and the BNR plugin directory. Layout renders great, no issues. But managed to get the same error in BNR: "Frame(0) not found! - Scene=testscene - \\Q...

Re: cant rendering animation with object dissolve
It's also when I use rendering in layout. It just stops when it starts to render a second frame. The only way I'm able to solve it, is to copy my object dissolve settings to all the transparecy surface settings of that object.
