I think an image like this should be no longer than 15 minutes in your machine.
I did the 1.7 tutorial in 1920x1080 and was 2 1/2 minutes on a Xeon 8 core.

I have executed the Tutorial of 1.7. Very helpfull, thenk you. At the end I do not get a clean image, the area were the ceiling matches the back wall has noise, like montecarlo noise... Hotspots from direct light ?
Hello everyone. If direct light of perhaps the sun is filtering to the floor of an interior, how can we teak the amount of light desired to be bounced to the ceiling? The ovius first choice is to make the sun brighter.... but what is this overkills as burned out hotspot ( not desired on the floor ) ...
