Not save Trace direct lights ref options

If I check "Trace direct lights reflections" options and save the scene, after reload it, this option is unchecked.
Where is my problem ??

I'm with lw 9.2 64 bit and kray OB8 64 bit.

Thanks for advice.

I'd use less reflection on the wall and turn down max rays for refl/refr blurring accuracy limit (100-200). There also might be issue with bump causing those specks. I also wouldn't use lumi polys to light this scene. Spot lights should work just fine. Try to simplify your lighting. Also.. what are...

reflected light questions

My question is about noise of reflected light and how can I reduce, if is possible, the time render. The first image "test.jpg" is render with some material problem, than I've used to see the global light result and correct the error. The main problem was the noise of reflected light near ...

I'm using vista64 from last summer with no problem, it's very stable OS but I can't compare with xp64 because I'd never used it.
The only note is that vista require more ram ....

Try using luminous settings treshold 0.1-0.01 Min100/max1000 or higher if it's still to grainy. By applying Limitdr to the luminous surface you should compress the dynamics a little bit and therefore less rays should be needed for a useful result. Thanks again for Your advice. I'll try this setting...

Pixeldust im not sure i follow what you have done but it's very god that youre doing some simple test :D I did a (very) simplified similar scene and rendered so you have a starting point. Remember that when you modify the dynamic range of luminous surfaces they will look softer and darker since the...

If I've a poly emitter like a ball, for the time and rendering quality is better low poly or high poly ??!

Thanks

I recive the same error message. I'm doing some test using "force indirect luminosity" and I've this problem ... or simply I've not understand how use it. Setup light. There are a line of light (like led) behind the bottle (see render to nderstand) and a lamp attacched to the ceiling. This...
