Re: living room
Sorry to scratch your eyes, i did not precise that i wasn't looking for design in this render... i was reproducing my own living room like it is (old 70's house with the style that goes with it... not sexy yet, but for the moment it is not my priority/budget  ). I agree, a more modern/design r...

Re: Translucency
you are right i wasn't using good render settings.
With your settings, the renders are done with acceptable time, thanks.
I'll post a wip render to get critics and comments.

Re: Translucency
Thanks Janusz, there is a big difference between the 2 renders.
For my part translucy takes age to compute ( as there is a window glass behind,or maybe my mesh in quads isn't optimised).
Maybe i'll try to have a go on a other way round.

Translucency
I am working on texture for curtains and for wall lights,
These are not transparent but translucent... (correct me if i am wrong..)
But with kray rendering it takes hours to compute on my scene. Anyone has a other way to do this?
Thanks

Re: Texture problems
Ok,
After a few hours of searching tweaking and so, i found the origin of the problem....
I did name the surface with a accent (stupid error from me).... so i could tweak the surface as much as i want, it had no influences on it in kray.
So every thing should be working fine now...

Texture problems
Hello, I am working on a interior scene, and i experienced a weird problem.. I got a object (stair ramp) that does not react to texturing. i get reflective surface on it, as i only have 100% diffuse. Same if i change it's color, it does not render well and keep spec and gray/white color. In the lw R...
