Hey all,
I'd like some decent AA with motion blur, but the Random FSAA mode is way too slow. Can I use quasi random to do motion blur as well when set to FSAA?
What are good settings for quasi-random as a starting point?

Re: Need some testers
Looks great, could I have a shot at it?
I have HD instance 2.x, also 9.5.1 and the latest Kray.

Re: Exterior
Johny: nice test!
I think you're doing a great job, the first thing that jumped out to me was the saturation of the vegetation though.
Could you perhaps share that 3D contest scene in LW format the way you have it? I'd love to take a shot at pushing it a step further.

Re: HD Instance is working fine
Kray and HD instance have been working well for me for quite some time now.
Remember, it's not really HDinstance, it's Kray using the placement settings of HDInstance to make its own clones. So its exactly as fast as kray's native instancing.
Oh this is with HDI 2

I'm posting another problematic test here, of the same scene, because the topic is locked in the bug tracking section. This is using skyportals, so that doesn't help either, thanks SilverLW for helping me with that. http://www.mediafire.com/?dmldlx1mgiy You have to visit this link in your browser to...

Hmm I'm not familiar about what you two have been talking about. But time interpolation mode wasn't tested very much so I'm sure there are problems. That's why your feedback is very valuable. Just post to bug section and I'll take care of it. I posted it a long time ago here: http://www.kraytracing...

I have to say, I have not been able to use Kray for months now. the projects for which I need it keep throwing up problems. Mostly with flickering on surfaces in time interpolation mode. I've gone over them with SilverLW but every time we solve them in one spot, they start happening somewhere else. ...

Rendering to HDR brightness problem
Somehow the original topic was locked... I just wanted to add that Photomatix is an advanced auto-exposing program... one of the reasons, and most likely reasons, your animation flikcers is because Photomatix auto-exposes each image individually. You should use Lw's own HDR expose to do this kind of...

Re: Less bad LW 9.5 render? :)
Second: I saw this on Spinquad, but this have strong shadows and strandge radiation..... It's supposed to, it is a sacred chapel, I wanted to have this radiation and mystery. The power of Lightwave lies in its control, I feel, I can get any kind of atmosphere I desire. I'm not looking for pure real...

Lw 95... 25 minutes...
LightWave is going places
Kray is still faster, but LightWave is more flexible and easier to set up. They augment each other nicely.
