Hey all,

I'd like some decent AA with motion blur, but the Random FSAA mode is way too slow. Can I use quasi random to do motion blur as well when set to FSAA?
What are good settings for quasi-random as a starting point?

Looks great, could I have a shot at it?
I have HD instance 2.x, also 9.5.1 and the latest Kray.

I think you're doing a great job, the first thing that jumped out to me was the saturation of the vegetation though.

Could you perhaps share that 3D contest scene in LW format the way you have it? I'd love to take a shot at pushing it a step further.

Kray and HD instance have been working well for me for quite some time now.

Remember, it's not really HDinstance, it's Kray using the placement settings of HDInstance to make its own clones. So its exactly as fast as kray's native instancing.

The quality is retained. It's just that PS's default gamma is different than Lw's standard HDR saving.

After opening an HDR image in PS, go to Image > Adjustments > Exposure and set the Gamma to 0.5. Then it's exactly as it looked in the render preview and in LW image viewer.

Hmm I'm not familiar about what you two have been talking about. But time interpolation mode wasn't tested very much so I'm sure there are problems. That's why your feedback is very valuable. Kray is still faster, but LightWave is more flexible and easier to set up. They augment each other nicely.

It's gamma, but also the amount of bounces Kray does by default.

I found what B/D is in the manual... very handy... brightness difference weighting.
