I really dont know, I am really awaiting a network render solution so I can render with either renderfarm commander or with butterfly net render, across Mac and PC render nodes before I can use Kray for actual production work

any updates on that guys? thanks !

Well it remains under development. The problem is still LW SDK. Once G. can figure good connection with LW through lwsn then it's gonna be possible to render over whatever render farm
Right now kray.exe is only able to load limited information from LW that's why it remains for internal testing only.

But network rendering remains high on priority list because all of us would realy benefit from it.

I know how you feel, I am sitting on a 66 node farm for over a year now... it's hard to do a 3rdparty engine LW-renderfarm solution, LWSN does not give out much info. Still looking for better ways.

Hey Jure,

 Jeez, I didn't know a new beta was out!!!

Anyways, I am also hoping that network rendering will be possible. Kray is so fast already but a network solution would make it "THE" render engine to have for Lightwave.

Are you guys watching the Beta 9.2 for developments?

Well, I'm off to play with Kray beta2

Jep, watching 9.2 closely... Network rendering will be possible, but for a "real" network render solution some more development is needed.

That is like you have a rendercontroller inside LW-layout? and not a BNR solution?
