scaling light's fall off

Post by jdomingo »

hi

is there a way in LW to scale light (area, point) fall off along x or y or z like in 3d studio max? or is there a technique to do this?
thanks

Jure what is eem? as you can see on the sample model with point light, i want to be able to stretch the falloff of the light that will match or fit with in the shape of the room (rectangular). now the fallloff is kind of not reaching the far end and if i increase it, the other side of wall will sure have over burn from light. is there a way? thanks

Point light is emiting light from a single infinitely small point in space and therefore CAN NOT be scaled.
Try spherical light instead.
