Does anyone have any free LW plugin or script that splits polygons into different layers per polygon surface.
I searched and couldn't find any.

Never mind , I made a small lscript that does exactly that (based on an older one by Al Street):
Just put all the mesh on the first empty layer of a new object and run the script , it will split the polygons into layers per surface , and rename the layers with surface name.

It's been a long time, but anybody knows if this script still works with the recent lw release? I'm on 2015.2 and it does nothing now...
