Which version of LW?
Hi all, Since we've seen lots of great new features added by Newtek in their LW9.5.0 cycle we'd love to see them supported in kray, but often adding this support to Kray comes at a price for older versions of LW & Kray where new features obviously cannot be included. We would really like to know...

Re: Kray Hidden Feature, Surface Baker unlocked!
Haven: Thanks yeah I have heard of thatbefore, I will look into it. It's cool though because some of the effect look quite nice even though they are hacked in, like the refracted transparent glass, looks quite cool from some angles. I forgot to add at the time but you can also use the Kray buffers ...

Re: Surface Baking Camera Broken, Incorrect rendering
it's a shame everything is baked in like, refraction and reflection etc More to come. You do have control over the surface flags in Kray though  checkout surface_flags in this link: http://www.kraytracing.com/wiki/Advanced_features From memory if you just want indirect light in your map you w...

Re: VirtualRender v1.6 has been released!
Can somebody tell me if it supports HD instance? Really please. Kray does not "officially" support HDI 'yet' (but it is on the roadmap somewhere). The internal beta team were just as surprised as everyone else when Kray all of a sudden started to render out HDI scene's as there has been n...

Re: Surface Baking Camera Broken, Incorrect rendering
Hi, Not sure I've seen this problem before, then again I haven't done any baking in a while. Could you try Kray's own baking camera (in the "Kray rending options", under "camera mode") and see if you get the same results? Also how do I find out which version of Kray I am Running?...

Correct!fabian-POK wrote:So if I hit the render frame button, kray would render a separate image for each buffer selected
Oh, just to follow on to darickster question, this ls is just a temporary thing, the new Kray GUI will include buffers options.

Re: Kray Buffer help needed
Hi and welcome to the forum.
If you have successfully installed the "KrayBuffers.ls" script you can add the buffer GUI into your scene via the Master Plugins.

I use reinhard in vray for exterior, too. So I didn't know how to do it in kray. I'll check out that qtp program thanks. Really need displacement in lw. The grass looks flat but when its far it looks good. I think your render is already photographic and only the sharpest eye can spot its cg. How di...
