Re: I finally made the big step and bought it
I have an Early 2008 Mac Pro with two 4-core 2.8GHz XEON CPUs and I'm running LW 9.6 build 1539 I've been trying to figure out the anti aliasing while waiting for a reply here now, and occasionally when I click the Render frame button I'm presented an error message which reads something about "...

I finally made the big step and bought it
Allrighty - new user, planning to spend the day at work getting into Kray. So far, so good. I'm impressed by the render times vs. quality. However, I'm struggling quite a bit with anti aliasing. It's by far not as straight forward as LW's own render engine. I've gone through the manual, and it expla...

Re: old room
I literally said "wow" out loud when I saw this. This is GREAT! And the LCD monitor made me chuckle. I would think someone who's go this kind of furniture and excellent taste would do something else than LightWave. Maybe smoke a lot of cigars and being a fat, british lord or something. :lo...

Re: 3 questions about Kray
I'm hijacking this thread a bit. Won't take long. But it might be just as relevant to Tartiflette as it is to me. When is the buy page coming back? I've been lurking around these pages for quite a while, and I'm unsure whether to invest in Kray or not, and I got loads more "yay" tha...

I request a video to show how things work, like FPrime
I have yet to see Kray's interface. I have yet to see how someone would start from scratch and light a scene, figure out how to setup Kray and work through the process of making a nice render. I might be "old school" but I'd like to see what I get, not only the results of what others achie...

Re: Stick to vanilla LW or go with Kray?
I see. This animation in 720p took about two+three hours (two separate scenes) to render for instance, with 12x AA.. The whole object of the world (bought from turbosquid) is about 300K polys, and the scene with the buildings and all the trees are incredibly 1.3mill polys.. I should probably get bet...

Stick to vanilla LW or go with Kray?
I'm in a bit of hard thinking now. I'm REALLY interested in Kray - and I'd love to learn more about modeling with LWCAD (looking forward to the training, Larry!) and get into some more visualization of architecture. Nowdays I'm starting to do some modeling on a project where the goal is animated 3D ...

Ok, no problem. I'll do it myself asap when I've bought Kray myself.
Thanks again!

Thanks for taking your time to test it.
How was the render time? Does Kray help in any way with render speed vs. internal rendering?

That make-over was INCREDIBLE! Really gets me going to get me on the knees to beg clients to pay up asap so I can get my hands on Kray.
Interesting thread!

Ozone and Kray
I'm just waiting for some cash to drop into my bank account, and I'll swing the VISA at Paypal like a ninja so fast it don't know what hit it. Does Kray and Ozone play well together? If not, what problems are there and are there workarounds to solve them? I'm a Ozone 3 owner, currently tes...
