DOF is LW DOF, no post production. There is a bit low AA (FSAA Spline Grid 3, should use 5 for good DOF).

Thanks for the comments, This is mainly lightning setup and surfacing practise for me, so I can have easy setups for commercial work...

Nice work! Quick look it seems that weird artifacting is because of the sun light, you can see there should be "sun light" on that places in the couch where there is those speckles... No idea why, caustics off? Maybe double check the couch material too, bump mapping or something may cause ...

no gloss (specularity) used, reflection and reflection blur in advanced tab...

I'll go usually without any incident angles (just basic reflections), around 6-15% reflection, and blurring it 40-70%, try out and see what suits your taste...

Yes Johny, as we talked about this, these are one of the best Kray work seen in anywhere so far. Some materials are little off (personal tastes), like the dark wood cabinet looks little too dark, but other wise it's very high quality! I hope this will encourage people to use and learn the Kray like ...

Would it be a problem where glass material and the door material are in exactly same point, and Kray somehow reads the border surface to be that glass, not the solid door material? Are you using the glass materials in different layer than others, and set unseen by radiosity? I would try to make the ...

Oh one thing, antibanding crash is related to the frame aspect ratio, so your image is for example 1000x700, but if it's 1001x701 it might cause the crash, this has information on bug hunting forums also, check that too if the crashes continue... Or did you just use 400% or similar in camera setting...

One quick solution is to render it in limited region render in 3 slices (horizontally sliced). This I've done pretty much for LARGE images, of course you have to put them together in PS or similar, but that's worth it...

Tried this?

DOF works well with Kray, just camera settings enable dof (needs perspective camera or similar, or more AA passes to activate it in LW), then it should go well with Kray also. Other settings (AA passes etc) doesnt affect Kray in any way.

Nice job mate!

Mind giving a screen shot of the sky portal setup, like the placing of the sky portals, sky portal planes on the ceilings and one in window?
