try n-value 10.000 , I wouldnt touch precachesize since im uncertain to how it relates. Actually i would try with basic 20.000 photons and N-value 2000 from the beginning. If i get a consistent and smooth irradiancemap without brightspeckles try render, if you still have speckles increase N-value fu...

Try setting kray's arealights treshold 0.002 and min0 max4 to treshold 0.001 and min1 max4. This use to help alot. If you suspect it's arealights causing Noise yu can also turn of it's adaptive behaviour by setting Min and Max values the same like min2 max2. That way they will work exactly like in n...

Increased usability of luminous object

There is no lights used at all in this scene instead i have used polygons with luminosity. Im a real fan of those :D Luminous value of 4000000 is used on the tiny "sun" poly and 400 on the large skypoly.

Some render colourmodes

Some render colourmodes.
Notice how exponential compresses the light so you dont get burned/white areas. HSV Show us the true colours even if they are bright.

Hi Ingo! Long time;)
The colours and light look that way since he uses latest beta of Kray witch have: Linear/gamma/Exponential and/or HSV.

Next release of Kray will be cool and fast.

"Relative" value makes me nut's.
Value 1.0 = 0 or no effekt at all.
Possitive affects something and negative effects something.
I would really like to have all this about AA explained in the online manual.

Mostly it's enough to lower treshold from 0.02 to 0.01 and it goes faster to render than forcing kray to always use let's say 3min 4max. The tolerance values is a way to tell what quality you want so if you would set tolerance to 0.0 you tell kray to tolerate 0% noise so it would always use the max ...

For the moment you are the only one that have asked for it afaik ;)
Cant you use people mapped on polys/transparency instead or add people in pshop afterwords?
