IES lights what are there ?
and were can I find them ?

Interesting.... We have beed doing lights like thse since lightwave vertion 4. My tric was to map an image map done in Photoshop as a proyection image.
Basically the image is a series of concentric random rings, some blurred and some not.
By reading the threads at NT forum and in Kray, is that all this has problems because LW has some bugs with nodes, making it crash with IES, than the issue with Kray ( no point lights right? ) then the issue of slower render with nodes.... Please correct me but if this is the case, I stay with my image proyection on a cone light.... does the same effect. I have not tried proyecting an HDR though.....
Anyone obout this?

Point lights and IES in kray works fine here, I haven't had any crashes.

IES files are not image maps, they are mathematical descriptions of a light (photometric web). Thus, they are HDR by default.
