I've tried to rebuild a scene from photograph. I didn't get the lighting exactly right since I don't realy know what were all the lightsources when this photo was taken.
Render time 3hrs on Athlon 3800+ at 1600x1200.

Hi Jure, your render is fantastic, can you post your settings? Lightmap or Photonmap? How many and what kind of lights are present in the scene? OK ....stop me now!

Thanks a lot

The lighting is very easy for this scene. I used a skydome with intensity at 700%. That is the only light source in the scene.

I used Lightmap, Received mode:
GI res 0.5m
400.000 Photons
N 1600
Precache distance 60%
FG min 400 max 1000
spatial tolerance 0.2
angle 60°
distance min 50%, distance max 10000%
B/D: 100%
Overample: 100%

I also used 300/300 samples for blurred reflections.

The curtain is tricky. There is a bug with translucency in current Kray version that prevents them behaving correctly. I had to make them unseen by rays and I think I used only a bit of gradient on transparency and diffuse channel. Check the attachment.
