Hi All,

I got a question of a client of mine to make some visualisations for the placing of an artwork in their office building. The thing is rather big (11 x 1 mtr) so they wanna see how it looks before moving the thing.

I think its not bad but its not realy good either, the trouble is that almost everything is made of glass, so lots of distracting reflections.

Anyhow, please let me know your thoughts, comments and remarks.

Simon

ps: The renders are a bit grainy but I hope to resolve that tomorrow.

Not bad at all! The thing that stands out is bright green tree leaves.
I think you should try indirect mode and the grain should disappear.

Also turn off FG refractions and reflections - this should speed up rendering. If it doesn't look good turn it back on though.

Use precomputed filtered mode when tweaking lights and materials - it's like very fast render mode which gives you quite accurate result.
