mt test with Fprime... 5 hr to render, but... very fine quality!
looking for speed/quality and result without artefacts and moire.
I think this is reachable only with good AA, but kray 1.612 very slow with good AA...

I took away your fake ceiling arealight and turned down ambient to 0. Also I turned the window arealight to 0 and used only a luminous quad in the windowframe to light this scene plus the sun arealight and the luminous quads in the ceiling. (last are missing in the vray render)
This scene sure is interesting in the AA department. I had to use a pretty dense FG sample grid to fill those weird vertical profiles on the wall and it took very long to AA all those lines indeed.
I made a render in kray with Cache Irradiance checked Off (they call it quasi-monte-carlo in vray)
After that I made (about) same time FPrime render of exact same scene. As you can see that is way more noisy. I let it continue for 2 hours 20 minutes to show what FPrime does in about 5 times the kray rendertime.
Only thing I forgot in the FPrime render was to put in air polies in glass (or switch on Doublesided again) but this is not influencing rendertime. kray renders glass correctly with just the outside polygons.

here they are, the 4 min time of vray is on what machine? Ask your friend to add the ceiling light and to upload that scene somewhere, I am curious

computer config of my friend (render vray-max)
intel 965, Core2duo 3500Mhz, 2Gb DDR667,
AA 14 qmc - in vray.
later He makes new render with ceiling lights.

yes, QMC render in kray resolve this problem with strips of wood.
Which are your settings of FG-rays to kill noise in render? max, min, treshold?
qmc mode in version 1.7 much faster than in 1.612?
with fprime I can stop render at any moment and kill noise with noise_ninja or digital_remove_noise (function in corel paint shop pro X)... and I can manipulate level of noise reduction... and sometimes this much faster than QMC render in kray

(in version 1.612)

1.7 is much faster than 1.612. But you can ofcourse do the same noise reduction on a noisy low-settings kray render, so kray QMC is faster than FPrime anyway.
The settings are easy: uncached photonmapping, FG min 100 max 0 for a scene with enough light, just try a small region to se noise. Then increase FG min value for that small region until satisfied (or to post process the noise away). For a darker scene, try 400 or even 800.
