Hi there,

just downloaded and installed the demo version, forks fine!
I'm just wondering if the demo has some restrictions in terms of resolution?

thanks,

No.
It has "restriction" in quality and speed though because it's a very old version. :)

hi

well, quality is anyway good and the speed seems much higher than the one of the regular lw radiosity renderer...
but when buying kray just right now, which version will be purchased and will the upgrade to 1.7 be for free?

If you buy Kray now you will get access to Kray 1.7 OB1 which is Open beta version. You will also get any consecutive OB upgrades as well as the 1.7 final version.

Yes, If you buy kray, you can test the great 1.7. But for example, lw has a test version of lightwave 9 and you can test the software previously. In a few months I'll buy fprime or kray, I don't know for the moment what is the best because I can see that the next version of fprime have a lot of changes, such as, nodal suport, new gi, volumetrics... but I can see too, that kray 1.7 it's really good, and has a great render times, but for the moment the kray users doesn't know if the future version of kray will has nodal support, and the new changes of the sdk of lw9.2. The new version of lw will have a lot of changes and for the moment I has only the test version of kray 1.612 and good, It's and old version but you can make greaters tests, But I would like to test software and compare before to buy.

Rest assured that nodal support will be added to Kray.
