Excluding luminous polys

I have a scene with loads of little spotlight and downlight models in it. Each one has a luminous poly to give the impression of a light bulb, but the actual light in the scene is coming from LW spots. Unfortunately, Kray goes to all the trouble of processing all those luminous polys (97 lumi lights!) and often throws an exception when it gets to the end.
(As an aside, this problem arose after I removed the Kray1.7OB1 master plugin from a scene and then re-applied it to reset the settings to default. Prior to this, Kray did not add 97 lumi lights, despite all those luminous polys always being there. Is there a setting I'm missing?)
Is there a way to make Kray ignore luminous polys? If not, can anyone suggest a way to convincingly fake a light bulb?
Cheers,
Phil
