Translucency does not illuminate in Photonmapping mode

I've noticed that light bounce from translucent surface doesn't appear when render with photonmapping mode, but it is visible in pathtracing mode which is the correct look.

Could this be a bug, or did I do something wrong here?

hi,
translucency has issues since FGblur was introducted, along with some other things.
While we wait for a bugfix, notice how translucency behavior is kinda inverted in many cases (not in your pics above it seems).
