First serious shoot from K3.
This scene is heavy with without Nodes (I did use in this time) , wrong surface settings, etc (later I will fix all because scene contains a lot surfaces and images)
Light sources:
- Physky2+Sun
- 8 Kray Area Lights

Here 5 sec render from VPR:

and after 3 min:
ScreenShot075.png
Missing only Anti Aliasing.
Render with high quality: QMC , reflection blur and Kray Area Lights.

I will make today KrayVPR video from this scene.
btw
There is no Nodes in this scene so I have full reflection recurse. All surfaces reflected 10 times which make render very long - it should be limited up to 3-5.

Hey janusz really nice.

Here next demo of K3VPR.
Scene has all necessary features from LW for this scene: Instances, SubPatch, Nodes.
Because this is very old scene I changed only a few surfaces with full Nodes system include reflection limiter.
Full 10 bounce light in QMC mode (I shoot photons before start demo, 20sec). Also reflection/refraction in all surfaces has recurse 10.
Scene not optimized for fast rendering (It must be recurse limiter in Nodes for fast render...because today nobody render with full 10 recurse in reflections)

Here 5 minutes end of render (We do not have yet save image option from KrayVPR and also Anti Aliasing is in developing):

Janusz really nice one think plz this reglection limit tell g if he can make it in shaders tab so we can izi control this put low number like : kray photon multiplier. So like me who didnt want to use node i prefer this one plz ty. If its possible. Ofcourse if it will make huge work for g. We dont ned it. I prefer this option will be in gui kray3 menu. Ty

New option in K3: OCC system.
This can be mixed with real render (later will show when G. will fix some bugs)

This will be support for Final Gathering to get nice shadows with very fast render (FG can be setup very poor for that with contact shadow problem)
OCC in K3 has no influence in speed render 8)

With the exception of anti-aliasing (I hope it will soon be ready) - the speed and cleanliness of rendering for the archviz show the most promising results.

Please notice that fact: In K3 VPR we get preview of light and surfaces in few seconds in real GI conditions.

With new Anti Aliasing (in developing) you just add to all my renders from VPR 20-30% of whole time.
Also remember this QMC level is high (rays 100 only! in K3) , the noise level which you see little, will be totally reduced after AA.
Also reflection blur noise will be reduced if is visible by AA.

Scene above has no optimization in reflection limiter (see part when I watch inside sink kitchen 5:57) there is reflection and high blur and still I get prev in few seconds! This material has no node, just high reflection + high blur and full 10 recurse in reflection!

Anyway I will do test it with Final Gathering soon.

Tech info: KrayVPR still has only 4 progressing passes in render. In future will be like FPrime or LW VPR: smooth progressing scan.

Really really amazing so we can see clearly that k3 very fast then k2 and it can handel very complex scn?

K3 is completely new software. Comparing K3 to K2 has no sense with all render aspects.

To be able to see the VPR, do you first need to process something or to calculate the image at least one time ?

Simple you start VPR (first time will be Ray tracing because no photons in scene, you will see only direct light)
After that you shoot photons.
Moving camera by standard Layout control in LW (standard "t" - moving, "y" - rotation )
I will explain very soon how to use it in special topic for VPR.

Here finally full PhotoMap in this scene:

details about photons here

This is first real PhotonMap (photons from light sources) comparison between K2/K3 without any special changes for K3.
The differences:
- K3: 100.000.000 photons (10 millionx10, ~2 minutes)
- K2: 10.000.000 photons (~2 minutes) I could not more because it`s crash  ...so photon resolution is much bigger.

- K3 the lowest quality with Area Lights and QMC
- K2 the highest quality with Area Lights and QMC which allow me render scene in reasonable time. Visible still bad Area Light quality in kitchen area.

So K3OB3 very, very soon. G must fix bug with crashing VPR after using a couple of seconds during render.
Still waiting for Physky2 working in PhotonMap but in this moment is not important.
After release OB3 I will upload new scene + tutorial.

Renders:
K2_.png
K3_.png
Precompute:
K3_precompute.png
Override.
Sorry forgot add time bar, it was my experiment with only 1 million photons multi-played 100 times (around 3 min shooting and 10 min render)
K3_override.jpg
Visible small bugs but for OB3 not important in this moment.

...and this happen in 8 sec in K3VPR when you have correct photon map (100 million photons in PhotonMap)
K3_VPR_8sec.png
K3_VPR.jpg
Of course scene is empty, no Anti Aliasing but this is "Path Tracing" quality in real time.
This noise will be reduced by Anty Aliasing.
