Nice, have you rendered on your own renderfarm?
How long approximately per frame?

Good work!
...is nice to see how big space is between native engine render from Lightwave and Kray.
Kray users are elite 8)

Hi!
Tnx for the comments.

I rendered on a small farm on my office, 10 I7 rendernodes 16Gb ram.
frame rendertime was 10-15 minutes. (up to 20 min on the interiors where the fluffy carpets show)
The carpets and dark textres was baked before render to get rid of noise.
The rest was rendered as QMC.

I think the best idea for exteriors now in K2.x is use Only QMC render (before render the best ide is to save Photon Map - see my tutorial how to do. After that all Nodes can use this map with option LOAD)

Why save Photon Map? Because this method is the safest from all. Whole procedure take a couple of seconds. After that run QMC with extra Path Passes photons. Is also one positve think: You start animation immediately because you do not need BAKE Global Illumination.
Of course render is a bit slower then Final Gathering but Global Illumination is almost perfect (QMC), animation render start immediately, no problems with shaders on leafs (You do not need them).

For heavy scenes - much bigger then yours I suggest use ONLY Path Tracing (It can be also QMC but in some EXTREME cases Path Tracing is better)

I baked GI only on dark surfaces with the KraySurfaceOptions. The reason was that dark surfaces in Kray produces more noise so you have to go hi at FG settings to get those clean.

Dark materials have cashed irridiance and the rest of the materials have uncached materials. Then render the animation in QMC

What were the AA settings you used? The images look quite clean and the render times are nice. Just curious. Thanks.
