hi guys,

I just got new job for compositing architecture in 3D and real life recording video. This is my first project for compositing between 3D models and camera tracking. I really need to know and understand clearly how is the process step by step to complete my project. Video and recording on the existing site and insert the future development 3D in the video. Really need help, thank you.

First you must get the same focal length real camera/LW camera.
If you do not have it then you can use for example Google Sketchup

Plugin is free

After that You need same position of real camera in 3D scene (I think some of those system offer fbx file tracking scene which you must import to Lightwave).
If you do not then tracking information of real camera then you can receive from tracking points in After Effect - on the web are a lot tutorials.

I never used it so I know only theoretically some general details.
