Kray rendering without opening LW

Hi all,

I was trying to make a render with the well-known "DLI_SNUB-LAuncher" but I didn't manage to make it work.
So, a simple question : is it possible to make a Kray render with this little app or any other Screamernet app.?

And a related question : does it save Ram to use such a program?

(The error I got from DLU was : kray licence error, which is of course wrong)

I am not sure with this (no knowledge at all about "DLI_SNUB-LAuncher").

K3 have special plugin to render scene without Lightwave at all (no Screamernet). Kind of exporter. It is possible now with old Kray by special Kray.exe module.
But we must know it will have limits:
- no subpatch (it can be possible to do in Kray code)
- no Nodes (too much coding to add it in Kray code but I do not know how much)
- no physical lights (it can possible to do in Kray code)
- no Instances (with this I am not sure how much difficult it is to add it in code)
- no LW backgrounds (this I am no sure)

Actually the biggest problem will be with Nodes system.
There are some planes for network render inside Kray but I have no details yet.
