Sub D in Kray

A basic question. Currently I bring in sub-D objects into LW and render with Kray, as a general rule, if the object is a hard body subject (a car for example), would it be more efficient to subdivide the object first into smaller polygons and bring it into the scene as a normal polygon object (or even convert to triangles). Would that make Kray render it faster?

No. conversion from sub-d - triangles happens before actual rendering so it won't speed up rendering.
