A lot of noise in my blurry reflections

Hi!
The image attached is a bottle with blurry reflection, at 80 percent blurring. The lighting is done with luminous polys that are invisible to the camera, but are seen by rays. The problem is that there is a lot of noise in the bottle surface as you can see, even at "high" settings, giving the impression that the surface is rough or sanded, while it should be perfectly smooth and matte. Maybe a tiny bit of noise would be okay, to give a satin finish, but this is too much noise.
Is there any way to get rid of this noise, without having to crank the settings up to one gazillion rays? Some specific setting or maybe even a special header command?
Thanks,
Thomas
