Hi,

I'll spare you the details but I need to put my license on a faster computer.

1) Can I do this?
2) How do I do this? I don't see a 'terminate activation' option in the Kray licensing tool..

I don't want to just use the same unlock on the other computer in case both PCs stop working...

I am not sure but try press "l" when You activate Kray window.

Thanks Janusz, but this doesn't do anything (expect put a lot of 'LLLL's in one of the fields.

I have a one license key and I know how to input it, but it is already used on another computer. I want to remove it from the other computer because I'm afraid it might lock up both computers (if the license is not first 'de-activated' on the older PC).

This will be works without problems.

There is no activation/deactivation in our licencing system. All you need to do is enter the unlock code into your other computer and it will work.

So, any tips on why it's still in demo mode? I really just copy / paste the unlock key from my member page on the Kray website. The window closes so I guess it does at least accept the code, but then nothing changes.

Check your LW config folder and make sure kray_key.txt is there.

It's there. But still, the watermarks.

I think You have more then one Kray on computer. Please check by searcher in windows all kray.* , delete all and put fresh Kray files.

Yes this could be the problem. You can also open LW plugins panel and switch to "file" view on the bottom. This will display all the plugin files loaded into LW. Then scroll down to Kray and make sure you only have ONE kray.p listed.

Hi all,

Deleting all kray plugins for LW and deleting all kray files from the harddisk and then reinstalling did the trick.

Noteworthy: even though I did a search for kray* on my harddrive, WinXP64 did not show the kray plugins in the Newtek/Lightwave folder. Strange. I went to this folder to copy the kray.p file and noticed they were still there so I deleted the files manually. Oh well, it's working now!
