Hello,

Does anybody know why kray dramatically drops in cpu speed? It starts to render at 100% and goes after 5 min to 25% cpu speed. I attached a screenshot of it. The scene is about 350 Mb memory.

This looks like a bug to me. Can you submit the scene to our "lab" for scrutinizing? :)

i don't know if its related. But bnr would also slow down rendering frames after a while in a kray scene I had.

Hi Guys,

It's not on our BNR farm, checked all other procesess, nothing found. But I think it has to do with curtains in my scene. I deleted from the scene and everything keeps rendering at 100% cpu.

I uploaded the files to:

I do not get slowdown on my machine (win xp64, core i7 920). However I think you have overdone your FG settings. Try 2 pass max and increase splotch detection and sensitivity back to default 0.05.

Hi Jure,

It keeps on rendering slow on the curtains, is it a problem with double sided transparant surfaces? I trashed every transparant object and then it renders at full speed.
