Hi everyone -

Unfortunately I haven't been able to post a whole lot of renders lately.

I didnt have much to do today, so I decided to start a little project for my reel, I grabbed some random modern architecture image references and started tweaking it, adding trees etc..

I talked to Nico and apparently he recognized the building right away.. props !

I will keep tweaking and will post updates as they come, thanks for watching !

Yeah I guess it's one of those architectural masterpieces you can identify in a heartbeat. Nice work so far!

Ooh, now this is an absolute classic piece of modern architecture. Pure modernist excellence. Every single element is painstakingly detailed.

Not a good idea to screw around with it adding things or changing things IMO. Adding stuff and making a joke is fine, like a moustache on the Mona Lisa. This is like changing the eyes to make them 'pop'.

Great render though - even if it is architectural heresy!

I didnt know what it was. I just googled "modern architecture" looking for references and it came up on the 2nd page.

Hope I am not insulting anyone, but this is just a rendering exercise for me, I plan to add lots of elements that differ from the original.

quick detail update.

I would go the other extreme, fully grown trees ripping up the pavement. Go all the way!

Got your point guys, I will show stuff when I have something worth showing next time, or I will be more careful picking a random architecture piece for me to use as a reference next time, no worries...

I think the joints between the tiles might be a bit too wide. Another great render though.

It's growing on me!

One thing to keep in mind - perhaps adjust the holes in the pavement to line up with the edges of the tiles? It seems a bit random at the moment.
