thought of trying instancing in kray to find out about its rendering speed. i used the veggiepaint to generate kray instancing then i hit render.
maybe i am doing something wrong in here but my test shows a 30min render time on 640x480 resolution. any advice why its kinda slow?

small objects like vegetation will eat loads of FG samples. The best idea is to apply a Kray surface options shader to your vegetation materials and Photon mapping wish cache irradiance OFF. Then you can adjust FG min /max number in shader to some low value like 1-10 or 10/100... This will render much quicker because Kray will not waste time adding samples to the small vegetation objects.

thanks Jure, that helps. from 30 minutes down to 13 minutes rendering time. excellent. doing more test now.
