I just made a test from lucas3d's model to compare the speed vs quality in V-ray and Kray...

Cool man. Just curious, what have you done to render this, just load the scene and use some standard settings ??

Yea, basically I had to mimic all materials from the rendered image, I only received the model without surfacing, textures were included though...

So I setup the textures and all that and then made a basic light setup with skydome / sunsky plugin with it to receive same kind of blueish colour that V-ray image has...

it was around 4 hours of setting up and rendering some previews.

Just out of interest, which preset and settings did you use? Could you possibly post a screenshot please?

Indeed! I would like to see some settings. I am having some issues setting up some scenes It owuld be interesting to see some other settings to compare. I work best by using the "reverse engineering" approach. So any settings or scenes to annylize would be great....
