Hair generator (true hair?)

Hi everyone -
I am in need of a hair generator for grass, rugs and other applications.
I have read (here) that trueHair works with Kray, is that correct? here is an attached image of a Vray render with 3D grass, will results like this be attainable?.
I went to the trueHair website but apparently has not been released yet? any ideas?
