Hi all, I make today a test to try to understand better how I can used kray and I would like to know how can I get a clean result with a correct edges borders and without splotches.

I know that kray 1.7 is better and can get a better result that the old demo, but at the moment I'm learning to used kray before to get my kray 1.7.

Here is two images with differents surfaces to show my question.

The scene is a room without any light. Only background. Here is my kray settings.

It's better to send scenedata than a settingsfile. I suspect you have to little photons in combination with N-value. Is it photonmapping? Do you have thickness on the walls? I hope you get your OB1.7 soon wich is much better at edges.

Here is a setup in latest Kray the way i would do it.

Here is my test with your setup. Great result for this early demo. Perhaps the dark corner of the room need more accuracy. The render time isn't real, lw and kray was in a second plane of my windows during the test while I make other things and I add to the scene 3 grid AA.

Yes Silverlw with N value set to 400 and these rays the result is clean.
