Example scene needs a boost

Hey,
I've attached a sample scene (which is really a simple version of a scene that I'm working on). I like the light temperature on it and the smoothness of the GI. But I want more AA and less noise. Seems that if I change the settings, I loose the smooth surface. I really don't feel in control yet, there are so many settings there, and things change from version to version, so becoming an expert requires a lot of studying.

That's why it would be cool to have someone with a little more control go over the settings, and "max it out". Rendering time is no issue here. All I want is some default way of setting this kind of room size up that will work.
