I think so, that your are making some changes on your version because I see textures that I don't put in my rar, the sky texture is in the rar and I read that you have lw8.0. My lw version is 9.0 and I think that there can be any change that make that my result is little different. Try to make a render with my scene without changes and loading the textures in the rar.

You can see the sky now, the texture can't see very good if the luminosity object have a big value, you must play with difuse level and luminosity level, and you have too the level of the sun_spotlight. You can make some test to get your best result.

Here is my last version of kraywell with a few new details. Here is two versions, the original version and a version with levels adjust with photoshop. Here is a detail picture too.

I took the "Kraywell" scene by Ana and played with the lighting a lot. I used two lights: one "sun light" about 300% and yellow-orange and a "sky light" greenish-blue and about 75%.
There are only 3 problems with the scene:
1) The obvious light leaking (could be a modeling thing - i didn't touch the model.) I tried setting paths to 1 and it doesn't help.
2) The lack of soft-reflections. I tried everything I could but they just rendered with a lot of noise. I even had blurry rays set to min2000 max4000 but the white speckles remained.
3) The render-time is pretty big for one frame. I didn't do much to optimize the frame time. I wanted a smooth lighting finish so I probably used way too many FG rays.

My actual setup have light dome object and sun spotlight and with the actual config the time render for this scene ins't too bigger. The actual scene have 240 thousands polygons and ray recursion limit set to 8. The scene for the moment haven't got a perfect setup for ilumination but I has to correct some details in the model of room to have a better ilumination. The wall that receive the light rays is too white when I increased the parameters and in the room setup by Silverlw there is a soluction for this problem.

Here is a little better test with 54.000 cells.

Here is a new test with almost full quality. This test is make to show you, how can be the final light result for the room, but for the new tests I reduced a little the quality to get faster results.

My final render of Ana's scene (thank you!) was a fun learning experience.

I agree with Johny_quick...
Time to buy 1.7.
Really different from 1.6x version : G. make a great job with presets, so with this basis you can have really good results (no splatches,...) and very very fast !

Ana028 your work is very bad and needs a lot of improvement!
