I just finished rendering above scene in 6000x3500 (it's very important to match original camera aspect ratio, to LW v9.0+ Advanced Camera Tools work properly).

Please use Save Link As.. and watch in off-line picture viewer..

Looks like everything is working now properly..

Hi Sensei,

What has been the render time of it? Do you have alist of the machines and characteristics you use to render it?

Thanks,
David

Brilliant!

Will I be able to get all of Kray's different outputs (reflections, indirect illumination, etc) out of VirtualRender as well? Does it work properly with Kray's anti-aliasing instead of using VirtualRender's own "AA passes" setting?

At the moment - no..
Does it work properly with Kray's anti-aliasing instead of using VirtualRender's own "AA passes" setting?
Yes, of course. It's even disabled when you pick up Kray Render Engine..

Final results of this scene:

Scaled 16000x9333 to 800x467:

Please use Save File As.. and then watch in Photoshop or in good picture viewer..

Will support for the additional passes be added at some point? It's a very important feature to me. How does the GI calculating work for a single frame? What are the render times like at 10+k resolutions, compared to 2k?

Same here, same question as well, What was the render time??

BTW, I am now the proud owner of a seat of Kray for the Mac so add me to the growing list as well! Unfortunately I am sooo over run with work I do expect a breather soon and will want to be able to incorporate some Kray renderers in the final out put. We will be rendering at High res for posters. I loaded the cathedral scene and did a load from scene of a vehicle which weighed in at 885,000 polys and did a quick render. Not bad, however, got to get back to modeling to make the deadline so it will most likely be at least tow weeks after the new year till I can really start to get the feel for Kray.

Nice render BTW!

Cheers
