2 recent orders exterior

Post by ZodiaQ »

2 recent projects rendered in K3.035.
For- and background trees / sky in post.
Trees and skies from self-shot pictures.
Little Nik collection filter.
Better not talk about rendertime  but ok, it is 1-1.5 hours each 3600px G2  (remember i'm still on my ancient single Xeon E5-1620!)
New system comming soon. :D

What system render you used for it?
PhotonMap+QMC or Path Tracing?

Ah single CPU now I see.
Did you use K3 with denoiser or not yet in this project?

Yes this system has never been suitable for this work  still i managed to get something out of it for all these years.
Project classic house without denoiser
Project modern house with denoiser

If you look very closely you see the 'oilpainting' effect from the denoiser in the windows, but is normal i guess, with strange reflections and at the same time stuff happening behind the glass i think it is impossible for denoiser to know what to do.
But i render all my images at 3,5K resolution.

WOW
Great renders.
Jakos, I can not make good exterior in kray.
But as you can see it is only my fault.

Yes exteriors are very easy comparing to Interiors. Only one problem with exteriors is that we need special shader for foliage (Fake SSS) G. will do it.
