Great.
What image size will be rendered? Maybe it makes sense to make the size of the image in a more traditional version? 1920x1080 for example?

...that's the problem with benchmark idea: all aspects must be balanced:
- resolution
- difficulty for engine
- amount of all effects
- time render

Time render for Dual Xeon 72 Threads must be around 60 sec. We must think about new Dual Xeon 88 threads and also about i7 CPU or i5.
Test should be for slow computers in 5 min around but also it can not be faster than 30 sec for the fastest ones.
More Important is to have all render aspects in benchmark:
- full GI with pure 10 bounce lights
- Brute Force GI sampling
- PPM
- 4 passes of Anti Aliasing
- no fakes
- no specular
- reflection, reflection blur, transparency, translucency, bump, physical light, Enviroment Lights, LEM lights, Instances.

I just meant this - so that the renderer of the image would take a sufficient amount of time to test the modern CPUs and enough time for testing the old CPUs. In fact, this is the same as what you are saying.

You think 60 sec for Dual Xeon 72 HT is ok?

Wow, cool combination of speed and quality! This is especially evident in the curtains.

Last tweaking and we start release Benchmark K3 with web scores.

benchmark will contain also "free mode" from K3VPR so after render you can use keyboard and mouse for moving in scene.

Demo will be probably with K3RC3 very soon maybe next week. No sure 100% yet, because maybe G. thinks is to early for demo.
