Fantastic.
I like very much the wall, the ceiling lights and the leather material looks great.
Maybe larger planks for the floor would look even better.

Thanks for comment ideart :D
I made wall textures with some image collage from google.

Great job!
Finally good QMC render :)

My fast advise for set-up panels:
PHOTONS
- keep for interiors GI resolution 400 mm
from my tests - the best in my opinion. lower affect bad effect cells colour - it happen especially, when are too many lights and some sources of lights, produce "bad" photons. Higher make problems with sampling and of course limits correct information about Photon Mapping. Also over or above (400 mm) time render starting raising up.
- Precache distance keep 100% and is better turn OFF Precache Blur.

FINAL GATHERING
because this is QMC then nothing works here except: FG min/max and Path Passes.
- FG min/max for acceptable quality for this resolution is 50/300
- Path Passes 1 bounce and MINIMUM 75%. Would be nice to turn it OFF but the will appear lights leaks in corners (it is normal). From my experience the distance should be minimum 75% because under this limit will appear light leaks...so better is to keep higher distance to cover this effect. Of course higher distance value make longer render because are more square which need to be calculate by Path Tracing Photons.

SAMPLING
Of course in K2.x the best AA solution. You can use BOX with filter 0.7 - it will be faster render a couple of percent.

QUALITY
- in some cases (when Area Lights are not stretched strong) Area Light min/max can be 1/4.
- Luminosity Threshold helps reduce noise in IES light effect. But I noticed last time it dramatically rise up speed render ...so I keep it with zero.
- If you do not have strong interpolated lights (lumi) then even blur 100/300 looks very good.

I hope I helped

PS

I suggest not to exaggerate with flare effects - better make them gently almost not visible.
I used Denoiser II under AE and I think raising FG UP to minimum 50/300 will make less noise ...even acceptable for animation. I did not sharp image because level of noise is a bit to high.
Very good time render, unattainable for Final Gathering
I noticed also problem with leather - but I know this surface is very difficult.

Janusz AE post is very good, thanks :)
I also agree with you about flare effect.

I have take some render and results:

Did you turned OFF Path Passes option? It looks as this option is dis-activated.
Make Photon Estimate/Precomputed render to see size of cells.
Make Override render to see problem with GI.
Check also GI resolution - for me looks 400 meters (should be millimetres)

PS
for material on left armchair You should use BumDropOff correction in Nodes or is something wrong else with surface setup.

OK I found problem in your scene:
- vertex setup on object (this appear after importing for example from max) It should be OFF
- some bad settings in Kray - especially Precache Distance (should be 100%) and small amount of Photons (I remind : the save amount is 1 million)
- Area light from ceiling entering into wall object - it can affect bad photons in scene

Thank You erkerk, for share scene. So, I checked setup and I made some correction. I did not yet put my Nodes into scene also some surfaces are without reflection (later will update it). Final time for this scene with QMC should be approximately 25 min in final setup with Nodes.

I attach also Precomputed mode to see Photon Map cells (this should be exactly this size, no less no more).
On the ceiling you can notice not good gradient with colours and power - but parameter N which I set up is very small: 400 only. I do not want too much blur Photon Map because in QMC phase it can take longer time render and more noise. Of course this scene is small and here are not big problems with Photon Map, but in huge scenes with many lights value N=400 will be too small. In extreme situation (when Photon Map looks very bad) only high value of parameter N (even 3000) can reduce colour splotches. This problem appear with huge amount of light sources (50-300 Area Lights or Lumi Lights or IES) and of course this is normal. Important is not to use strong lights. This situation can be partly solve with Skyportals but for that we must wait for K3.
